Savannah Petersen joined the Colonial Club in April 2025 and assumed the duties of the Director of Activities and Programming.
Savannah is a native to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and has lived in Wisconsin for the past 20 years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. Savannah began her career as a Recreational Therapist the Wisconsin VA Home in Union Grove and at a Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center. She went on to working at nursing homes and assisted living facilities in following her heart with working with in geriatrics. Here is were she continued her education working in Dementia and Memory Care Units. Then becoming a Certified Dementia Engagement Specialist and Certified Dementia Care Partner.
Savanah is recently married, February 2026, to her husband Trey. They just bought their first home together that they share with their 4-year-old Carlin Pinscher, Gus. In her free time, Savannah enjoys baking, experimenting with recipes, painting, quilting, gardening, and preserving/making her own panty staples.
