Melody has worked for the Colonial Club Senior Activity Center since 1993. She has advanced in the organization and currently is the Executive Director as of January 2025.
As the Executive Director, she is the primary advocate for advancing the Mission and Vision of the Colonial Club. With this comes the responsible for the overall leadership, operational and fundraising activities of this highly visible community organization that provides services to older adults. Shortly after graduating from UW- Eau Claire with a bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Melody became a licensed nursing home administrator. She operated a nursing home for approximately 2 years before joining the Colonial Club.
Over the past several years, she has been involved with the Wisconsin Adult Day Services Association. She has become involved in the Sun Prairie community and is the Chairperson of the Transit Commission for the City of Sun Prairie. Originally from Hartland, Wisconsin, she moved to Sun Prairie shortly after getting married to her husband Mark. Since moving here they have had two children, Brian and Kylee who are now married. Brian, along with his wife Tiffanie and their two dogs Oakley and Hank live in Tamarac, Florida. Kylee, along with her husband and their dog Willy live in Holmen, WI
