Are you ready to start bowling at the Colonial Club? That’s right, virtual bowling will begin in the Colonial Club Front Lounge on Friday, January 18, at 10:00 am. Video games aren’t just for the younger generation anymore.

The dynamic duo of Gail Brooks and Lori Bushman will teach us how to Wii Bowl. We’ll learn how to accurately use a small, light-weight controller that will translate our arm movements into lifelike, on-screen action. For those with physical limitations, the Wii system offers new opportunities to bowl again. You’ll get a chance to effortlessly toss a bowling ball down a computerized bowling lane minus the 10+ pound bowling ball. If you can swing your arm, you can Wii bowl.  Even if you’re not sure about playing this video game, everyone is welcome to just stop by and watch the fun! Pick your favorite bowlers and cheer them on.

We’ll offer a few more learning sessions in February, and if there is enough interest, we’ll begin a Wii bowling league in March.
